Happy birthday to Distinguished Senator Chimaroke Nnamani, the father of modern day Enugu State. 

The man who wrestled political power from the jaws of the dysfunctional elites. 

The builder of men, deep in thoughts and foresighted. Omerunwa ogbenye Ogaranya!. 

At 64, you have made your mark in the annals of Nigeria’s political history, as a great Nkanu son who became Governor at a time when Nkanu men and women were political chaperones in Enugu you enthroned them at the highest echelons of leadership both in the State and National. 

Growing up in Enugu during the ebeano years, I can say that nobody come close to the people oriented leadership in infrastructural and human capital development.

I celebrate you today, the great son of Nkanu, the progenitor of the new political leadership in Enugu State. For the role you played in the psychology of an average Nkanu child when you held sway as the Governor I thank you. You walked so we can run, and tamed the enraged lions in Enugu so Nkanu child can dare to dream. Jo!
